1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by YBH Travel, a professional travel agency with over 20 years of experience in managing day-to-day operations, including trip planning, reservations, and customer support. By booking any travel experience, tour, or service (collectively referred to as “YBH Experiences”) through YBH Travel, you agree to be bound by these terms. YBH Travel reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, with updates posted on our website. It is your responsibility to review them prior to booking. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by YBH Travel and relevant third-party providers, such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators.

2. Deposits and Payments

To secure a reservation for a YBH Experience, a deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit amount will be specified in the booking confirmation and is calculated based on the total cost of the experience. All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to personal reasons, changes in travel plans, or external events. This policy ensures operational stability and covers administrative costs incurred by YBH Travel upon receipt of the deposit.

Full payment for the YBH Experience must be made by the due date specified in the booking confirmation, typically no later than 60 days prior to the departure date. Failure to remit full payment by this date may result in cancellation of the booking, with the deposit forfeited.

Payments can be made via approved methods, including credit card, bank transfer, or other electronic means, and all transactions are subject to applicable fees and currency conversion rates.

3. Transfer of Deposits

In the event that you are unable to participate in a booked YBH Experience due to unforeseen circumstances, the non-refundable deposit may be transferred to a future YBH Experience, subject to availability and YBH Travel’s approval. The transfer must be requested in writing at least 30 days prior to the original departure date.

The transferred deposit must be applied to a new booking within 12 months of the original departure date, and any difference in cost between the original and new experience must be paid in full. Transfers are permitted only once per deposit and are not applicable if the cancellation occurs within 30 days of the departure date.

YBH Travel reserves the right to deny transfer requests if they conflict with operational requirements or third-party provider policies.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to YBH Travel. The following refund structure applies based on the timing of the cancellation relative to the departure date of the YBH Experience:

  • If cancellation occurs more than 60 days prior to departure, you will receive a refund of the total amount paid, minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • If cancellation occurs within 60 days but more than 30 days prior to departure, you will receive a refund of 50% of the total amount paid, minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • If cancellation occurs within 30 days prior to departure, no refund will be provided, and the full amount paid will be forfeited.

These timelines are strictly enforced to account for commitments made to third-party providers. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 30 business days using the original payment method.

YBH Travel is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by you, such as non-refundable airline tickets or visa fees, resulting from cancellation.

5. Travel Insurance

YBH Travel strongly recommends that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to booking or participating in any YBH Experience. Travel insurance is essential to protect against unforeseen events, including but not limited to trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost baggage, flight delays, and personal injuries. Such insurance should cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip interruption, and personal liability, with adequate coverage limits based on the destination and activities involved.

YBH Travel does not provide travel insurance as part of its services, and it is your sole responsibility to obtain appropriate coverage from a reputable insurer. Failure to secure travel insurance may result in significant financial loss or hardship, for which YBH Travel bears no responsibility.

6. Liability and Responsibility

YBH Travel acts solely as an intermediary between you and third-party providers of transportation, accommodations, tours, and other services. While we exercise due diligence in selecting reputable providers, YBH Travel is not liable for any acts, omissions, defaults, or failures of these providers.

In particular, YBH Travel assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any injuries, medical emergencies, accidents, losses, damages, or delays experienced during a YBH Experience, regardless of the cause. Although YBH Travel and its representatives will provide reasonable assistance in the event of an emergency—such as coordinating with local authorities or medical facilities—we do so on a voluntary basis without accepting any legal or financial liability. This includes, but is not limited to, situations involving natural disasters, political unrest, health pandemics, or personal health issues.

The aforementioned limitations underscore the critical importance of purchasing travel insurance, as it serves as the primary mechanism for protection and compensation in such scenarios. By booking with YBH Travel, you acknowledge and agree to these limitations of liability and indemnify YBH Travel against any claims arising from your participation in a YBH Experience.

7. Force Majeure

YBH Travel shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions. In such cases, YBH Travel may cancel or modify the YBH Experience, and refunds or transfers will be handled in accordance with Sections 3 and 4 above.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which YBH Travel is incorporated. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration authority, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Acceptance

By making a deposit or payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
