Day 01 :

November 20 – Arrival Day – Sunset Welcome Reception

Arrive at the airport and transfer via round-trip private transportation to Hotel Vista Ballena.
Check into the hotel at any time after 3 p.m.
11 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Visit the welcome table at the hotel entrance. Enjoy live acoustic music and light refreshments.
5 p.m. – 12 a.m.: Mix and mingle Pool Party with fellow YBH travelers and your dedicated host. Savor appetizers, drinks, and a DJ bringing great vibes. Take in the stunning sunset over ocean views while swimming in the infinity pool. Fire dance performers and local vendors will provide a great experience

Day 02 :

November 21 – Adventure Day – Whale & Dolphin Watching

9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Enjoy a guided whale and dolphin watching tour departing from the hotel (transportation included). Observe humpback whales in their migratory season, along with playful dolphins, in the protected waters of Marino Ballena National Park. Join your host for an exciting morning of whale watching and a beach day at The Whale’s Tail, the natural beach shaped as a whale’s tail. Enjoy fresh fruit and drinks while seeing nature in its full spectrum. We will provide drone photography and videos of the group.
Once returned, enjoy the evening at leisure

Day 03 :

November 22 – Exploration Day – Waterfall Hiking & ATV Adventure

8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Embark on a morning excursion to Nauyaca Waterfalls for hiking through lush rainforests (transportation included). Experience cascading falls, natural pools for swimming, and vibrant wildlife.
12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Transition to an exhilarating ATV ride through coastal trails, offering panoramic views of the coastline (adjusted to follow immediately after the hike for a full morning-focused adventure block).
9 p.m. – 11 p.m.: Return to the hotel for a group dinner featuring fresh Costa Rican cuisine, with opportunities for relaxation by the pool.

Day 04 :

November 23 – Leisure Day – Snorkeling & Catamaran Tour

7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Participate in a snorkeling adventure in the clear waters near Caño Island (transportation included), exploring coral reefs teeming with tropical fish and sea turtles.
12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Set sail on a catamaran tour along the coast, with included snacks, open bar, and chances to spot additional marine life (shifted to late morning/early afternoon to maintain a morning emphasis while allowing for sequential scheduling).
Lunch and dinner at the hotel. Verify airport transfer pick-up times with your host.
9 p.m. – Midnight: Enjoy a farewell whale-themed cocktail reception at the hotel terrace.

Day 05 :

November 24 – Departure Day

Check out of the hotel by noon.
Depart hotel at 1 p.m. via private transportation.
